XinRui Journal Ranking (“XinRui Ranking” for short) was officially launched by XinRui Scholar in 2026. With a global outlook, it reshapes the landscape of academic evaluation and aims to build a forward-looking paradigm for assessment.

The XinRui Ranking system integrates leading international journals across the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine, management science, social sciences, and the humanities and arts. It covers, but is not limited to, databases such as SCIE, SSCI, AHCI, and ESCI, and establishes a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary academic journal evaluation framework.

Data as the foundation, intelligence as the engine. XinRui Ranking applies large language models and AI algorithms to overcome the limits of single metrics and single dimensions, moving evaluation from “data aggregation” to “data insight,” and from “ranking tools” to a “driver” that serves disciplinary development. Early Warning Journal List （EWL) is embedded directly in ranking results (with an “under review” warning flag), enabling dynamic monitoring and continuous improvement toward a more prudent and trustworthy system.

Within the global research ecosystem, XinRui Scholar fosters deeper collaboration and dialogue with publishers, academic organizations, and the broader research community, promoting the international engagement and visibility of China’s evaluation systems.

As a non-profit initiative led by the independent third party XinRui Scholar, XinRui Ranking is dedicated to providing open and free services. It seeks to establish a transparent, equitable, and sustainable evaluation infrastructure, enabling broader recognition of high-quality journals and a more accurate reflection of scholarly value.
